Lent 2025: A Time of Reflection and Renewal at Blessed Trinity Catholic School

As we enter the sacred season of Lent 2025, Blessed Trinity Catholic School invites our students, families, and staff to embrace this time of spiritual growth, reflection, and renewal. Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5, is a 40-day journey leading up to Easter Sunday, commemorating the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What is Lent?

For Catholics, Lent is a solemn period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, modeled after Jesus’ 40 days of fasting in the desert. It is a time to deepen our relationship with God, seek repentance, and prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter. This sacred season calls us to reflect on our faith, make sacrifices, and strengthen our commitment to a Jesus-led life.

Observing Lent at Blessed Trinity

Throughout Lent, our school will provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful activities that reinforce the core principles of the season. These will include:

  • Ash Wednesday Mass – A special service marking the beginning of Lent, where students will receive ashes as a sign of repentance and humility.

  • Stations of the Cross – A weekly tradition allowing students to reflect on Christ’s journey to the cross.

  • Prayer Services and Confession – Moments of prayer and opportunities for reconciliation to encourage spiritual growth.

  • Acts of Service – Encouraging students to practice almsgiving by helping those in need within our community.

Blessed Trinity Catholic Church Lenten Schedule 2025

To further enrich this Lenten season, we invite families to participate in parish-wide observances at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. The full Lenten Schedule 2025 will be available detailing Mass times, confession opportunities, and special events leading up to Holy Week and Easter.

As we embark on this Lenten journey, let us open our hearts to God’s love and transformation. May this season of prayer, sacrifice, and charity bring us closer to Christ and to one another.

Stay connected with us for updates and reflections throughout Lent 2025. We pray this season blesses your family with grace and renewal.
