At Blessed Trinity Catholic School, we are proud to continue the beloved Catholic tradition of May Crowning, a meaningful celebration dedicated to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary during the month of May.
On Wednesday, May 7th, our school community will gather in reverence and joy to place a crown of flowers upon Mary’s statue, symbolizing our love, devotion, and gratitude for her role as the Mother of Jesus and our spiritual mother.
The May Crowning is a special tradition that highlights Mary’s virtues of purity, humility, and faithfulness. For centuries, Catholics around the world have chosen May—a month bursting with spring’s beauty—as a time to honor Mary with songs, prayers, and floral offerings. The crown of fresh flowers serves as a visible sign of our admiration and our desire to follow her example of holiness and trust in God.

Our students play an important role in this beautiful event, often leading prayers, hymns, and processions as we unite in devotion to Mary. Through this tradition, we aim to instill in our children a deep respect for Mary and an understanding of her guiding presence in our faith journey.
🌸We invite families to join us for this special May Crowning celebration on May 7th as we come together in prayer, reflection, and love for our Blessed Mother. 🌸
