Celebrating the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi
On Friday, October 3rd, our school community came together in a joyful celebration of the Blessing of the AnimalsĀ in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
Father MattĀ led this special ceremony, offering prayers and blessings for the beloved family pets of our students and staff. Families arrived early with dogs, cats, birds, and other special companionsāeach one a reminder of Godās creation and the joy animals bring to our lives.ā¤ļøš¾
Held in the parking lot beside the rectory and north of the playground, the morning was filled with smiles, wagging tails, and heartfelt gratitude. The Blessing of the AnimalsĀ is one of our favorite faith traditions at Blessed Trinity Catholic School, reminding us to care for all of Godās creatures with kindness and respect.
We are thankful to Father Matt and all the families who joined us in celebrating faith, love, and the beauty of creation together.
