Math Facts Addition & Subtraction Practice Tests. Your child has met this goal if he/she can correctly answer 80 out of 100 problems during a timed 5 minute fact test for both subtraction and addition. We will continue to have timed tests once a month in order to practice this very important skill.
Multiplication Math Facts Practice Tests will be given every Wednesday until the end of school! At the end of the Fourth Quarter of school their highest weekly test scores will be recorded as a test grade in Math. It is very important for all of the students to memorize their multiplication math facts 0-12. The goal by the end of the school year is to score 80% or better on a 100 problem 5 minute timed multliplication fact test. Please click into the Math & Language Arts Practice Link above to review math facts. Just follow the prompts!!! This is the Sadlier-Oxford Progress in Mathematics Website.

Culture Day Luncheon
Wednesday, May 30, 2012
11:30 Parish Hall
Plans are underway for our end of the year Culture Day Celebration!
This will be a special day devoted to sharing our varied cultures,
customs, and family traditions.
In preparation for this event, the children will be doing a research project in the classroom and the Technology Lab.
We will be researching different countries to learn about their way of
life, customs and traditions. After
the research is completed, the children will work together on a presentation
that they will share with the class on Culture Day!
A very special part of our day will be our Culture Day Luncheon featuring
foods from around the world!
Do you have a recipe that is special to your family? We would love to try
it! You are invited to send
in “your special recipe” on the day of the luncheon. The food does not have to
be “home- made” it can be “store bought”.
Our homeroom Moms are in the process of contacting people to help set up, clean
up, or send in needed items. If
your child goes through car pool in the morning we will have parents to take the
food from your car. We will
need some parents to stand in the carpool line at 7:30 to collect the food from
the cars. One of our homeroom Moms
will be contacting you to see if you can help!! Thanks so much for your help!!!
We are looking forward to a wonderful day!!!!
