All Grades:      “Scripture Verse of the Month” Homework -- 

Due on or before the last Friday of the month  (5/25/12; 5/21/12 for 8th grade)

Write & memorize the verse.  Then, choose 4 from the list:

§  Judge & Justify  Pick the most important word in the verse.  Tell why you think it is the most important and give the dictionary definition of this word.

§  Discuss  Explain what  the verse means in your own words.

§  Specify  Where is this verse found?  Give the section of the Bible (Old or New Testament) and the book that the verse is in, as well as the book that comes before and after.

§  Create Make a rebus for the verse.

§  Illustrate Draw a picture of what this verse makes you think about.

§  Interpret  When can you use this verse in your life?
